The Split King configuration uses two Twin XL bases and two Twin XL mattresses placed tightly together. Each base has its own independent head and foot controls.
The foot section on each Twin XL base is also independently adjustable using its own remote.
Important: Independent left/right positioning is a feature of the Split King option.
