PlushBeds exceeds the most rigorous testing and certification standards in the mattress industry. We pride ourselves on being one of only six manufacturers whose factory has both GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) and Global Organic Latex Standard (GOLS) certifications, and verified by Control Union®.
GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) prohibits chemicals that can cause serious health risks, birth defects, and even cancer - chemicals that, believe it or not, are commonly found in most mattresses. But our standards are much higher.
The GOLS (Global Organic Latex Standard) Certification ensures our latex is natural, non-toxic and eco-friendly, and free from dangerous chemicals. It also ensures workers are treated fairly at every stage, from our sustainable latex farms in Sri Lanka to our California factory.
Exceeding their strict requirements demonstrates our commitment to transparency and sustainability, and ensures our products are safe and environmentally friendly.

Unlike most “natural” mattress companies, we do not outsource the manufacturing of our mattresses to 3rd party uncertified factories overseas. All of our mattresses are handmade in our California factory, and go through a meticulous 95-point inspection before being shipped direct to our customers. Our raw materials are sourced only from farmers who share our principles. We ensure all materials are harvested in an ethical, worker-friendly, sustainable manner. And we personally meet with our suppliers on a regular basis all over the world to ensure they continue to meet our exceptional standards. We use renewable resources, sustainably acquired, in every product we make. In fact, we lead the industry in comprehensive certifications with a wide variety of eco-friendly and organic material awards under our belt. In addition to GOLS and GOTS, our products are eco-INSTITUT Certified, and GreenGuard Gold Certified just as a start. As well, no member of the class of PFAS is intentionally used in any of PlushBeds’ products. Each certification represents a part of our unwavering commitment to making sure you sleep safely and peacefully every night.
